Lenovo today announced an agreement with Wyse to extend both companies’ product portfolios to reach customers in the thin mobile client market worldwide.

Beginning next quarter, Wyse will add its expertise in thin client operating system optimization, management and virtualization software to select models of high performance Lenovo mobile clients.

“Adding Lenovo ThinkPad laptops to Wyse’s thin computing portfolio gives customers a complete technology solution all in one place,” said Peter Schrady, vice president, Enterprise, Software and Peripherals, Lenovo. “Customers in large organizations will benefit from combining Wyse thin computing software expertise with Lenovo’s expertise in providing high levels of computing performance while lowering the total cost of ownership.”

The agreement extends Lenovo’s alternative client computing portfolio which includes the Lenovo Secure Managed Client and thin client solutions from Wyse, to offer customers a wide range of solutions to fit their business needs.
