SMART Technologies and VastraTech celebrate successes of accredited resellers

Southern Africa’s top performing SMART Technologies accredited resellers were recently awarded for their achievements. Hosted at the Wanderers Club by southern African distributor VastraTech, each received a ‘Top Performing Reseller 2012’ award for their outstanding achievements in SMART Technologies education- and business collaboration technology integration. Edit Microsystems; a reseller headquartered in Cape Town; maintained its status as top performing reseller in South Africa for the second year in a row, while InterSol Kenya won the award in the ‘Rest of Africa’ territory.

Four further awards were given to top performing resellers in the two remaining categories. The ‘Marketing Excellence 2012’ awards for South Africa and the rest of Africa were awarded to Edit Microsystems and Empire Synergy respectively while the ‘Top Performing Reseller 2012: Year-on-Year Growth’ went to South African reseller Welcomp and Botswanaan reseller Empire Synergy.

In keeping with SMART’s Reseller Accreditation Programme (SRAP), resellers are recertified annualy to comply with SMART’s international standards and certificates were issued to this year’s qualifying resellers. Four resellers received gold certification for South Africa’s business solutions market, while two resellers received gold certification for education solutions. Another two South African resellers received Silver certification in the education market.

Users can differentiate between gold and silver resellers in that gold accredited resellers are licensed to sell the full range of SMART’s collaboration solutions, boasting the highest level of partner certification; while silver resellers specialise in a limited line of products. Both gold or silver accredited resellers are qualified to provide comprehensive product support for their represented lines of products.
