LG scoops top accolade in the electronics category of TGI Icon Brands 2012 survey

LG Electronics South Africa has scooped three top-five positions in the Target Group Index 2012 Icon Brands awards held Last week in Sandton, Gauteng.

LG Electronics took the top honours, voted number one by public vote in the electronics category with a first place ¬– most iconic brand – in the Main TV category; a second place in the DVD and Recorder category; and wrapping up the top electronics company accolade with a fourth place in the Home Theatre System – Bluray category.

LG beat out some stiff competition due to its dominance in delivering an experience that goes beyond the ordinary. “From our unique Cinema 3D technology in selected TV sets, to the superior three-dimensional sound experiences offered from our home theatre systems, we provide a superior ecosystem of technology that provides a life-like experience,” says Michael Bruchhausen, Senior Sales Director for LG Electronics South Africa.
