DCC signs on as official Samsung supplies distributor

Distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has recently secured the rights to officially distribute the full range of Samsung Business-to-Business (B2B) printer consumables.

Distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has recently secured the rights to officially distribute the full range of Samsung Business-to-Business (B2B) printer consumables. Previously DCC was a sub-distributor of certain products within the Samsung consumables range.

“We have had a longstanding relationship with Samsung, and felt that the time had come to make this partnership official. Not only will this move towards direct distribution ensure that our resellers can access a wider range of Samsung consumables products, it will also provide us with beneficial pricing, the savings of which will be passed onto our resellers. In addition, it will give us greater control over and efficiency of the distribution chain, ensuring better service for our resellers,” says Michael Watt, business unit manager at DCC.

DCC’s customers will now have access to the whole B2B consumable range, this includes inkjet, mono laser and colour laser, allowing the distributor to expand their existing supplies offering and deliver an extended range to resellers. A direct route to the Samsung range will also allow DCC to focus on growing their market share and increasing sales on these products.

“Our resellers were aware that, while we sold Samsung consumables, we did not stock the complete B2B consumables range. By augmenting this offering we are providing a more complete service, making us a ‘one stop shop’ for all of our customers’ consumables requirements. We will also assist Samsung to achieve growth, expand existing markets and reach new markets, as we will be driving the products into our channel and reseller base,” says Cindy du Toit, consumables product manager at DCC.
