Switching from tablet to laptop has never been easier thanks to the Dell Latitude 10 Docking Station, available from distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC). The docking station ensures greater expandability for your Latitude 10, providing the power of a PC in small and thin form factor of a tablet and the ability to change quickly between the two. With additional USB ports and a HDMI port, users can also add a keyboard, mouse or another monitor to the Latitude 10 for a desktop-like experience.

“The docking station adds so much more to the Latitude 10, giving the user the option of using a tablet or working on a ‘desktop’, and the RJ-45 connector allows for fast Gigabit LAN connectivity to your organisation’s network. With the Windows 8 Operating System (OS) and intuitive touch screen functionality, the Latitude 10 with docking station offers everything today’s mobile power user could want and more,” says George Lodewick, Dell Commercial Product Specialist at DCC.

The Dell Latitude 10 features a 10.1-inch LED display, a wide viewing angle and a 10-finger touch interface with optional stylus. Easy management and security simplify inclusion onto corporate networks, delivering seamless integration and allowing the device to be managed just like any other PC within the organisation.

Featuring Intel’s next generation Intel Atom System on Chip (SoC) processor and 2GB RAM, the Dell Latitude 10 offers always-on connectivity with Bluetooth, WiFi and optional mobile broadband. Highly portable and weighing in at only 658 grams, the Latitude 10 is ideal for the mobile user, and a removable battery allows users to stay connected for up to 10 hours.

“The Dell Latitude 10 is highly robust, with advanced specs and surprising performance making it the ideal device for the mobile workforce. It has all the features and functionality one would expect from a PC, with the mobility and convenience of a tablet. Connecting the device to the docking station allows users to enhance their working experience and get more value from a single device,” concludes Lodewick.

The Dell Latitude 10 Docking Station is available from DCC from immediately at a recommended retail price of R 1 899.00 including VAT.
