Sentech welcomes the appointment of acting CEO, Ms Beverley Ngwenya who takes the reigns with effect from 01 April 2010.  Ms Ngwenya has been appointed to the position by the Minister of Communications General (Ret.) Siphiwe Nyanda following the retirement of Dr. Sebiletso Mokone-Matabane on 31 March 2010.

Ms. Beverly Ngwenya is currently the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the Company, a position she has held since she joined the Company in 2007.  Ms. Ngwenya has extensive experience and knowledge of the industry.  She holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering.

Sentech also welcomes the new Board of Directors who assumes office from 01 April 2010 for a period of three (3) years.  New to the Board are Mr Quraysh Patel (Chairperson), Mr. Mesuli Dhlamini and Ms. Zanele Hlatshwayo.  Mr. Thabo Leeuw has been re-appointed.
