ROG Theta: 7.1 surround-sound, USB-C gaming headset

Building on the popularity of ROG Centurion, our rave-reviewed gaming headset, ROG Theta is a brand-new set of cans that employs eight discrete drivers and the industry’s first virtual-subwoofer technology to deliver 7.1 surround sound directly to gamers’ ears. Revered ASUS Essence drivers are supported by virtual subwoofers to create an enveloping soundstage with deep bass, providing especial immersion.

Theta also benefits from an AI-powered noise-cancelling microphone – another industry first. This employs machine-learning techniques to identify and cancel out 50-million varieties of external sound while accurately detecting and retaining the user’s speech, ensuring clear in-game voice communication and chat.

With an ESS SABRE9601 quad amp and exclusive, ROG-customized 7.1 DAC – which is the same as that used in high-end ROG motherboards – to deliver home-theater-grade output, Theta provides exceptional lossless audio.

ROG Theta Electret: Hi-fi 3.5mm gaming headset

ROG Theta Electret is the second new gaming headset that we’re introducing at Computex 2019. Marking yet another gaming-industry first, Theta Electret combines high-fidelity electret drivers with dynamic subwoofers to deliver impeccable sound quality in all listening scenarios – creating true-to-life stereo audio underscored by strong and punchy bass.

Theta Electret is built with an audiophile mindset and oozes hi-fi quality. The 3.5mm connecting cable is constructed from silver-plated copper wire, supporting high-frequency sound reproduction and ensuring excellent fidelity for all audio types. A 3.5mm-6.3mm jack adapter is supplied, making it easy for gamers to connect Theta Electret to their own hi-fi setup. The new headset also has an integrated boom, certified by both TeamSpeak and Discord, for clear in-game voice communications.

ROG Strix XG17: First-ever portable gaming monitor with 240Hz refresh rate

Mobile GPUs are now able to drive AAA at superb frame rates, but serious gamers crave more than 60Hz, as the esports arena demands higher performance to facilitate quick reactions. That’s why high-refresh displays are standard for both practice and competitive play, and where ROG Strix XG17 steps up.

Designed for ultra-competitive gamers that wish to hone their skills on the move, Strix XG17 is a portable 17.3-inch IPS Full HD (FHD) panel delivering a blistering 240Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time, making it the fastest portable display in the world. With both micro-HDMI and Type-C connectivity, the portable display is compatible with all kinds of devices – from smartphone and tablets to laptops and games consoles.

Strix XG17 weighs a mere 800 grams and has a built-in battery that supports up to three hours of 240Hz operation off a single charge. Downtime is minimized thanks to fast-charging support, with a one-hour top-up sufficient to power the panel for 2.7 hours.

Other salient features include adaptive-sync, which operates between 48Hz-240Hz, making it easier to derive smooth gameplay from modest GPUs. There’s even a built-in speaker for those times when a headset is unavailable or just won’t do.

ROG Strix 750W Gold and 650W Gold: Gaming-grade power supplies

ROG Strix series power supply units (PSUs) bring high-end performance to the core gaming audience. The lineup consists of 750W and 650W models armed with massive ROG heatsinks and a 135mm axial-tech fan, delivering cooler operation and less noise.

A potent mix of Japanese capacitors and low RDS(on) MOSFETs provide the foundation for a 10-year warranty and have helped Strix PSUs earn an 80 PLUS® Gold certification. For the gamer, the result is an incredibly quiet and efficient power supply with the endurance to handle the most intense gaming scenarios.

To facilitate clean-looking builds that look the part, Strix PSUs also feature fully-modular cables to reduce clutter, together with a selection of stickers and a magnetic badge that can be used to customize aesthetics.

ROG Strix LC 120/240/360 RGB: Liquid coolers bathed in brilliant color

ROG Strix LC coolers deliver high-performance liquid cooling in a worry-free closed loop, perfect for builders looking to maximize the value of an unlocked Intel Core or AMD Ryzen CPU.

We’re now expanding the series by introducing new models with addressable RGB fans, in 120, 240 and 360mm sizes, for thermal control in colorful style. The ROG-designed radiator fans optimize both airflow and static pressure, improve acoustics and feature addressable RGB, with an extra style flourish furnished by ROG stickers on the spindles.

ROG Strix LC RGB coolers also offer full Aura Sync support, enabling them to integrate seamlessly with existing setups and lightshows.

Aura Creator (beta): Next-level control over personalized RGB LED illumination

Debuting at Computex 2019, ASUS Aura Creator (beta) represents a step change in the evolution of personalized RGB illumination – enabling users of Aura Sync-compatible gear to create peerless LED lightshows. This brand-new effect-editing software has been developed by ROG software engineers to provide users with complete creative control over the lighting across an entire battle station. The streamlined interface belies surprisingly expansive depth for customization, making it easy to learn for beginners and a powerful arsenal for experienced creators and modders

The ROG booth will host two demonstration gaming rigs with lightshows created and controlled by Aura Creator (beta). The first is a laptop scenario based on the powerful ROG Strix Scar III, with a complex RGB display that flows across a ROG Delta gaming headset, ROG Gladius II Origin optical gaming mouse and ROG Balteus Qi RGB mouse pad. The second setup is a desktop PC system based on the latest 3rd Gen Ryzen-supporting ROG Strix X570-E Gaming motherboard.

These two showcases will demonstrate how Aura Creator is elevating Aura Sync control to the next level, handing users total creative freedom to create richly detailed, multi-layered device effects that are truly unique, and managed and applied in real time to enable infinite lighting possibilities.
