Pastel launches new payroll solution

Pastel’s new software solution, Pastel Evolution Payroll & HR, provides medium to large sized businesses with a package that is designed to grow with the company.

This best-of-breed software solution presents customisable, adaptable payroll and HR functionality on a Microsoft SQL database for medium to large sized businesses, defined by Pastel as a company with anything between 25-2,000 employees

“This is a scalable software solution that caters for smaller companies with a single user as well as companies with more than 250 simultaneous users or an unlimited number of employees that require customisable user rights,” said Pastel Payroll managing director Grant Lloyd.

Lloyd added that it can operate as a stand-alone solution or as an extension to the Pastel Evolution ERP software suite.

“We have included report writing, formulae writing and business intelligence (BI) functionality. There are 62 report layouts for users to choose from or they can simply and easily create report formats that suit their own specific requirements using the Report Writer and Business Intelligence Centre.”

According to Lloyd, payroll is the key component and the starting point in any human resources function. “Our Pastel Evolution HR module delivers HR functionality incrementally as an extension of a well established payroll solution rather than a once-off, highly complicated, expensive stand-alone total HR solution.”
