HP dc7900 range hits shelves

Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has announced the release of the HP Compaq dc7900 Business Desktop PC series.

Available immediately to the South African channel, the dc7900 range, which is available in ultra-slim desktop, small form factor or convertible mini tower (CMT) models, is also energy efficient and offers up to 87 percent efficient power supply units.

“The dc7900 is undoubtedly the ideal desktop range for corporates that require performance, flexibility and good looks.  Resellers will find that due to its competitive pricing, it will enable them to address the needs of medium to larger organisations, particularly in a cost-sensitive economy,” comments Rad Sambasivan, HP PSG Product Manager at DCC.

The HP dc7900 is also optimised for corporate environments that can run resource hungry applications and contain the following features:

Furthermore, HP has included the newest Mozilla Firefox for HP Virtual Solutions browser which allows users to surf the Internet and know that if they are attacked by malicious software.

Users also can personalise their levels of data protection with two new features in the HP ProtectTools security suite: Privacy Manager that allows them to securely exchange e-mails with a digital signature’ and File Sanitizer easily and permanently removes data from a PC prior to disposal.
