Utimaco to become available locally through reseller
Lenovo recently announced that it has selected local security specialists, Biodata, as its exclusive distributor of its chosen Utimaco security software in Africa.
The Utimaco SafeGuard Enterprise software has been selected by Lenovo globally as its software security standard is the solution of choice for its PC, notebook, workstation and server range. As part of the agreement, Biodata has been appointed as the exclusive distributor of the Utimaco software products for Lenovo in Sub Saharan Africa and will provide a link to local resellers of its hardware devices.
“We needed a local distributor that could handle the logistics of ensuring our resellers could get the Utimaco security software for their customers, while at the same time provide superior support and technical services,” says David Drummond, Lenovo TX Manager at Lenovo South Africa. “Biodata met all of the criteria we look for in a distributor, and we look forward to a long-lasting working relationship with the company.”
The Utimaco SafeGuard Enterprise solution is designed to protect your confidential information and comply with regulatory mandates. It is a modular information protection control platform that enforces policy-based security for PCs and mobile devices across mixed environments.
