Microsoft’s top SA IT partners

Outstanding work over the last year is recognized by computing giant

Microsoft today has named over 40 partners as potential winners ahead of its annual awards gala dinner in Durban in early August.

The awards recognise Microsoft partners that delivered exemplary solutions for customers during the past year across a range of categories.

The awards coincide with Microsoft’s annual Partner Summit event, which runs from 6-8 August. At the event, the software maker lays out its technology and business roadmap for the coming year to its partners.

Mark Reynolds, head of the small business and partner division at Microsoft South Africa, said the high standards of entries received for the awards showed that the company’s partners were delivering “unmatched innovation and value” to customers. In fact four South African partners have been recognised as category winners in Microsoft’s worldwide partner awards this year, he said.

“The bottom line is that partners have always been at the core of Microsoft’s business model, and that will never change. At Partner Summit, we’ll be announcing new business models and upcoming offerings that we believe will drive opportunity and profitability for our partners, while delivering incredible value and choice for customers,” said Reynolds.
