VoIP specialist expands Kwazulu-Natal projects

Skycall opens up office in Dundee

Skycall, a local VoIP and data specialist, reports that Skycall KwaZulu-Natal has opened offices in Dundee as “business expands dramatically in the region”.

This was confirmed by Pieter Botha, operations director at Skycall, who said the growth in the region is “rapid”, although it comes off what he termed a “starting base”.

Skycall KwaZulu-Natal is currently installing a 3G and satellite solution at two mines in the Dundee area, as well as “already making inroads into the SMME market”.

Additionally Skycall is in the process of appointing nationwide resellers. It plans to open 15 branches by the end of 2010.

“We are getting a lot of enquires from potential resellers, but, overall, we are only considering a handful at a time. Too many operators think VoIP is an easy market and want to jump on the bandwagon. We are looking for quality resellers that understand VoIP and can do justice to our brand.

“We have spent the last few years getting our products and services side of the business ready – focusing on delivery of holistic communications solutions to cater for clients from home users, to SOHO and SMEs.
