Samsung LED TV’s tops

With 1 million units sold, Samsung LED TV’s lead the market

Samsung Electronics displayed at IFA 2009 its full line-up of LED TVs, which were launched earlier in 2009.

Samsung’s LED TV line-up consists of the LED 6000, 7000 and 8000 Series, with characteristics such as high picture quality, slim design and “eco-friendliness.” All three series feature Motion Plus frame interpolation.

The 8000 Series uses a high refresh rate of 200 Hz which nearly eliminates any motion blur caused by quick motion images. Samsung’s LED TV line-up has achieved a number of awards such as the CES Innovation Award, IDEA 2009 and EISA Award.

“At the heart of Samsung Electronics LED TVs success is not only our relentless pursuit of innovation but also our ability to imbue the product with what consumers really want – an experience that is engaging and emotionally satisfying,” said Yangkyu Kim, Senior Vice President of Visual Display Division of Samsung Electronics. “It is this philosophy of digital humanism that sets us apart and will continue to fuel our growth, innovation and leadership.”
