Epicor announced as leading point of sale vendor to Softgoods Retailers

Epicor Software Corporation announced today that it has been named the leading vendor of Point-of-Sale (POS) software to the top North American Softgoods Retailers in a recent study published by global research and advisory firm IHL Group for the fourth consecutive year

The study also features an overview of the economic, technology and consumer trends affecting retailers today. Some of the key business challenges softgoods retailers seek to offset via the use of POS technology are price pressures, rising labor costs, lack of available workforce and workforce loyalty, as well as customer loyalty and empowering customers to make purchases via multiple channels.
