Hosted Blackberry Enterprise Server online

Vodacom Business announces dedicated Blackberry server

Vodacom Business today announced the launch of a Hosted BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

Hosted BlackBerry Enterprise Server enables companies to mobilise their workforces through a fully-outsourced version of the BlackBerry Enterprise Solution that provides both security and functionality.

Hosted BlackBerry Enterprise Server integrates with hosted corporate email, like the Hosted Exchange email solution from Vodacom Business, to mobile users with access to email, calendars, and other features of the messaging platform from their smartphones.

“Hosted BlackBerry Enterprise Server from Vodacom Business is an ideal mobility solution for organisations that want to focus on running their businesses rather than managing technology,” says Wally Beelders, Executive Director, Vodacom Business.

“Email is a mission-critical tool and combining Hosted Blackberry with Vodacom’s Hosted Exchange, users are guaranteed immediate, affordable and reliable email mobility for their BlackBerry devices; ideal for businesses that want to boost productivity and responsiveness by providing mobile users with secure and reliable access to their data and communications tools wherever they are,” Beelders says.

The Hosted Blackberry Enterprise Server is available at R105 per month. This includes Hosted Exchange from R60 per user per month from Vodacom Business, with the addition of the Hosted BlackBerry Enterprise Server at R45 per user per month. Customers can use their existing BlackBerry smartphone and contract (with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server tariff), or take out a Vodacom contract, which is bundled with a BlackBerry smartphone.
