Samsung lists its most prominent touchscreen handsets

Samsung has recently given a condensed explanation of the anticipated touch screen based smartphones that it will be delivering to the mobile market within a few months.

SAMSUNG GALAXY (i7500)
The Galaxy features 8GB of onboard memory, a 3.2” AMOLED full touch screen and 7.2Mbps HSDPA and WiFi connectivity. Samsung’s Galaxy is a 11.9 millimeter-slim handset that features a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen and 5-megapixel camera, and also comes equipped with GPS, Wi-Fi and WCDMA support.

SAMSUNG STAR
Currently the fastest selling model in the Samsung mobile repertoire, the Samsung Star features a 3.0-inch WQVGA full-touch screen and Samsung’s TouchWiz User Interface with Mobile Widgets. The phone also supports an onscreen QWERTY keyboard, “Smart Unlock” and handwriting features. Sporting a 3 megapixel camera.

SAMSUNG JET
The Jet features an 800MHz Accelerated Application Processor as well as a 3D touch interface and HSDPA connectivity. It also includes a 5 megapixel camera and is Push Email Capable. It comes with 2GB of onboard memory and will ship with a full navigation kit, including Garmap Navigation Solution.

PIXON 12
The first to market 12 Megapixel camera also features 3.1 inches of AMOLED touch screen with 10,000:1 contrast ratio. The Samsung Pixon 12 has the same 800MHz application processor as the JET and also supports Push Email and full multitasking. The camera is equipped with a Xenon flash which brings it up to the level of a dedicated entry level digital camera and can also record and playback video at DVD quality.

S8300
The S8300 features a 2.8” AMOLED anti-scratch full touch screen, and an 8 megapixel camera. It ships with a full navigation kit, including car charger, cradle and the Garmap navigation solution
