Kaspersky included in D-Link alliance program
Antivirus developer joins as technology partner
Kaspersky Lab announces its inclusion in D-Link’s Global Alliance Program as a Technology Partner, bringing the cooperation between the two companies to a new level. Prior to joining D-Link’s Global Alliance Program, Kaspersky Lab implemented its SafeStream anti-malware solution into D-Link’s DFL-260 and DFL-860 UTM appliances.
The partnership enables D-Link to enhance and extend the capabilities of its unified threat management (UTM) solutions. In addition, the new initiative aims at combining the marketing efforts of both companies for the promotion of joint solutions, and development of additional complementary products and services.
Kaspersky Lab provides D-Link with extended anti-malware support towards its NetDefend series, which is designed to guard network data from malicious attacks. “We are pleased to have a company like Kaspersky Lab join our Global Alliance Program,” says Tony Tsao, CEO and President of D-Link Corporation. “They have proven themselves as a leading organisation that offers a high level of knowledge in not just Internet security, but antivirus and mobile security as well.”
“We welcome this opportunity to strengthen our business relations with D-Link,” added Peter Merkulov, Kaspersky Lab Vice President of Technology Alliances. “By merging D-Link’s networking expertise with our experience in fighting malware, we can effectively combat the growing number of cybercriminals and provide robust, reliable protection to those who trust us.”
