Phoenix Software has announced the availability of two new gaming peripherals for Xbox 360 and Wii

The Exspect Xbox 360 Black Play and Charge Kit and the Wii Drop and Charge kit will be available in time for the Christmas shopping season. Both products are available from Incredible Connection and Look and Listen.

Xbox Black Play and Charge Kit

This kit allows users extended play time by letting them play and charge at the same time. The unit can also charge while the console is on. The kit includes a rechargeable battery and comes in black to match the Elite console and controllers. The kit is fully compatible with the official Xbox 360 controller.

The Xbox Black Play and Charge Kit has a recommended retail price of R199.99.

Wii Drop and Charge Kit

This kit allows users to fully charge their Wii remote without removing the silicon skin, and charge the Wii MotionPlus without having to dock the device. The kit consists of a pad and one Wii Remote Battery. The charger holds up to two separate batteries which can be charged simultaneously or individually.

The Exspect compatible battery device can be rested on the pad by simply placing it within the grey box. The LED indicators will then illustrate the charge status of the device. The unit is powered with a USB cable via the console or an AC charger, both of which are provided.
