Nashua Mobile stands behind Sevens rugby

Nashua Mobile, South Africa’s proudest supporter of the nation’s sporting teams, has thrown its full weight behind the Springbok Sevens team for the IRB Sevens Series tournaments.

The company’s new “It’s For Everyone” advertising campaign features key Sevens players Mpho Mbiyozo and Mzwandile Stick. Both have been confirmed as members of the squad for the IRB Sevens World Series tournaments this month.

Says Doug Mattheus, marketing director at Nashua Mobile: “We are honoured to support the squad, the winners of the 2008 World Series, as they defend their title in 2009.  As a truly South African company, we share a passionate love of sport with our customers, and we’re always proud to stand behind our world-class sportspeople as they show what they’re made of on the international stage.”

Mpho Mbiyozo and Mzwandile Stick are the latest two sporting stars to participate in a Nashua Mobile advertising campaign. They join illustrious stars such as South African rugby captain, John Smit and South African cricket captain, Graeme Smith, for the recently launched national advertising campaign, ‘It’s For Everyone.’

The television advertisements are currently being aired daily across all SABC channels and DStv.

“With 2010 around the corner and South Africa’s national teams taking part in a range of competitions and tournaments, sports fanaticism is at an all-time high,” says Mattheus. “Sport is such an integral part of our own company’s culture that we’ll be at the sidelines cheering alongside South Africans at every major game and tournament to come in the months ahead.”
