HP has the ‘x-factor’

HP number one x86 server vendor

IDC recently announced that HP was the top x86 server vendor in South Africa. HP increased its market share from 41% in Q4 last year, to 43% in Q1, 2010; totalling more than Dell and IBM’s market share combined.

HP is currently delivering the industry’s first mission-critical converged infrastructure in one platform. HP Integrity solutions will significantly improve customers’ service-level agreement performance, provide up to 100 percent application availability and simplify mission-critical computing for the most demanding application workloads. HP is also the only vendor providing a unified BladeSystem platform that spans x86 to HP Superdome.

Manoj Bhoola, HP South Africa’s Enterprise Servers, Storage and Networking (ESSN) Country Manager, says:  “HP understands the needs of it customers and will continue to focus on driving innovation to address business needs, and remain at the forefront of key solution developments and trends in the industry.”
