@lantic partner with Kaspersky

Consumer ISP @lantic, a subsidiary of the Vox Telecom group, has partnered with Kaspersky to provide affordable internet security to their customer base.

Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 offers superior internet protection and monitoring as well as parental control.  It also provides virtual keyboard software that prevents hackers from accessing login details and passwords when browsing the net.

Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 is available from @lantic at R14.99 per month for a single user inclusive of VAT, or R168.99 annually if you pay upfront.

“Where our internet security solution differs from our competitors is that we give single users the ability to manage their virus protection on a monthly basis via the internet,” says Jeane van Greunen, Head of Products at @lantic. “Instead of paying in excess of R400 for an off the shelf solution, users can now rent the security solution on a monthly or annual basis, depending on their requirements. Retail versions of Kaspersky are also available on DVD from selected @lantic retail stores.”

“Consumers think that by using free antivirus software they are protected,” says van Greunen. “Unfortunately it is a case of you get what you pay for and often with regret! Most free internet security solutions only provide weekly updates and do not protect against all security threats, while Kaspersky provides up to the minute updates, based on the latest threats.”

“We are constantly looking at offering consumers the best products in the market, and when it comes to internet security software, Kaspersky is one of the best,” says van Greunen.
