Epson’s innovative new projector technology

Epson to announce new home cinema projectors at the consumer electronics show

Epson, world leader in the video projector market[1], will present its latest Full High Definition home cinema range at IFA between 3-8 September 2010. Also to be demonstrated at the show is Epson’s latest development in 3LCD projection technology; further details will be announced during the show at Epson’s stand, booth 103, Hall 21.

Demonstrating its wide range of consumer projectors, Epson will split its booth into four dedicated areas; high-end home cinema, living room home cinema, gaming and home entertainment. Each area will be set up as a lifestyle simulation, showing the products in their most appropriate surroundings to fully demonstrate how the projectors fit into the modern home.

Kelvin Reynolds, general manager, Epson Southern Africa, said: “IFA is a key event for consumer electronics and we’re excited to be announcing our new projectors for the home cinema market, as well as demonstrating our latest developments in projector technology, during the show.

“The show is an ideal platform to showcase our position as the manufacturer of the largest home cinema projector range.  Our booth will demonstrate our projectors across a variety of different market segments such as gaming, home entertainment and high-end home cinema.”

IFA is leading international trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances. This year is the 50th anniversary of IFA and it will attract industry representatives from all over the world.
