Altron appoints new head of corporate communications

Michelle Doyle, previously managing director of Chillibush Public and Investor Relations, has been appointed as the new Altron Group Executive: Corporate Communications, effective 1 February 2011. She is taking over from Salomé Brown who has held this position for the past ten years and who will be going on early retirement at the end of February to pursue her own interests.

Michelle is an accountant by training and completed her accounting articles at Nedbank. In 2006, she founded and headed Chillibush Investor Relations and recently also headed up Chilllibush’s public relations function.

“Michelle joins Altron with extensive experience in areas of investor relations, public relations and communication and we are looking forward to her contribution to our group in this regard,” said Chief Executive of Altron, Robert Venter.

Michelle holds a BCom(Accounting), BCom(Hons)(Financial Management), BCom(Hons)(Accounting) and a CA(SA).
