Ground Labs to Present at Visa Security Summit 2011
As part of its corporate sponsorship, Stephen Cavey, Director of Corporate Development for Ground Labs, will speak in a focus session on Tuesday, June 14 at 2:30pm. His presentation will expose the non-compliant cardholder data storage practices of merchants and discuss the history of this issue, including the common mindset of employees, system administrators and other key personnel who encounter cardholder data as part of their day-to-day duties.
“Sponsoring the Visa Security Summit offers a solid platform to reach out to key players in the payment card industry throughout the EMEA region,” said Mr. Cavey. “We’re looking forward to exposing a problematic area of cardholder data security and demonstrate first-hand how our software solutions can greatly improve PCI compliance to ensure the security of consumers’ sensitive payment information.”
Enterprise Recon is Ground Labs’ network-based cardholder data discovery solution. The software platform helps organizations monitor the compliant handling practices of cardholder data in order to reduce the likelihood of sensitive data being breached. Enterprise Recon also helps organizations achieve compliance with the recently revised Data Security Standard, PCI DSS 2.0.
“Card Recon and Enterprise Recon are powerful tools that help organizations identify the scope of PCI compliance and reduce preparation time for PCI onsite reviews,” said Mr.
Cavey. “Sponsoring the Visa Security Summit goes hand in hand with our commitment to support the PCI compliance efforts of all regions globally.”
Ground Labs will run live demonstrations of its Card Recon and Enterprise Recon software solutions as part of the Security Summit’s main vendor floor alongside partners in attendance as event sponsors, including Stickman Consulting.
