Samsung Galaxy S II global sales top 3 Million
Samsung Electronics Co., a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, has announced that the Samsung Galaxy S II has reached global channel sales of 3 million units.
The Galaxy S II is Samsung’s flagship smartphone device; a thin and lightweight, dual-core smartphone that combines a Super AMOLED Plus screen with high performance figures, running the Android operating system. The next generation smartphone also includes exclusive access to Samsung South Africa’s three new content and entertainment hubs, integrated to provide instant access to games, e-books and social networking services.
Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy S II includes ROUTE 66 navigation – a mobile solution which offers turn-by-turn navigation. Noteworthy features include Smart Search which allows you to search for points of interests or specific addresses, providing matches with every query.
