Metrofile expands PTA branch
Metrofile, the JSE listed information and records storage management business, has increased the operational footprint of its Pretoria branch, following the awarding of the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), formally known as CIPRO, document storage contract, coupled with a substantial growth in business volumes for the company in the region.
According to Leon Thompson, General Manager for Metrofile Pretoria, the volumes of critical documentation that CIPC has to process and store requires the provision of world-class storage facilities and a qualified team of technical staff.
In line with Metrofile’s existing infrastructure, this new facility will also be compliant with National Archives and Records Service (NARS) standards. Thompson says the new space, which consists of a 3000m², seven story high warehouse, equating to 21 000m2 floor space, is geared for growth and can effectively service the company’s growing client portfolio.
“The expansion supports Metrofile’s vision of providing government and other businesses with secure and superior storage facilities,” concludes Thompson.
