AfricaCom awards – Shortlisted finalists

Informa Media & Telecoms, organisers of the upcoming and significant AfricaCom Awards, the ICT, Media and Telecoms industry‘s annual calendar highlight have released the names of the shortlisted finalists.

“We are pleased to announce that we had a record number of entries for this year’s Awards with an exceptionally high level of competence and quality” commented Emily Martyr, Conference Manager, Informa Telecoms & Media.

France Telecom Orange feature strongly in a number of categories whilst South Africa’s own MTN has been shortlisted in six of the eleven categories, including the ‘Most Improved Network’ and ‘Changing Lives” sections.

The AfricaCom Awards, now in its fourth year, recognise industry excellence and innovation of companies and organisations operational in the ICT, Media and Telecoms space across the African continent.  Taking place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, these Awards are a serious recognition of the commitment and professionalism of these entrants to their core business and to changing the landscape of the continent, for the better.  The evening of the 9^th November, is therefore set to be a brilliant and informative affair.
