HP South Africa appoints Clive Brindley as new Software Country Manager
HP has announced the appointment of Clive Brindley as Software Country Manager for HP South Africa, effective immediately. Brindley joined HP in 2007 and previously served as a Solution Architect and Pre-Sales Manager in the Business Technology Optimisation (BTO) business unit within HP Software.
In August 2011 he was promoted to Channel and Commercial ITPS sales manager, South Africa. “Clive’s promotion into the HP Software Country Manager role is another testimony of HP’s talent management programme, providing great career opportunities for our own talented employees,” said Frank van Rees, Managing Director, HP South Africa.
Clive has worked within the ICT infrastructure management domain for over fifteen years, focusing on delivering service management solutions to customers worldwide. Pivotal to the core of Clive’s ICT knowledge and experience is the seven years that Clive worked within the European market. His experience spans from solution design to quality management at leading enterprise management software providers.
“I am very excited about this opportunity, it is a great honour to be part of an amazing global organisation that recognises talent and has a key focus on promoting from within,” says Brindley. “I look forward to working together with my colleagues and business partners in taking the HP Software business to even greater heights,” he continued.
Clive has gained various industry accreditations, ranging from BS7799 lead auditor (BSi) to ITIL v3 expert (Service Manager) qualifications.
