Digital media showcased at Markex 2012
In keeping with the ever-evolving digital age, Markex World of Events 2012, taking place at Sandton Convention Centre from 12 to 14 June, introduces the Markex DMMA Digital Media Village, which debuts at the show in association with the Digital Media and Marketing Association (DMMA) as an interactive area solely dedicated to digital media.
The Markex DMMA Digital Media Village will feature a seating area for visitors to relax and network, in the atmosphere of a vibrant internet café and surrounded by strategic and creative companies offering services in the digital media arena. Booths are available for just 10 exhibitors in this interactive area at a cost of R10 000 each for the three days of the show. The package includes one booth with electricity, counter, chair, internet connectivity and cleaning.
The Digital Media Village is brought to Markex in association with the DMMA, an independent, voluntary, non-profit association focused on growing and sustaining a vibrant and profitable digital industry within South Africa. The association represents the South African digital industry to all sectors including the marketing community, the media, the South African government and the public, and also acts as the body through which international players can enter the South African digital market.
“Staying on top of the marketing game in these fast-changing and demanding times takes focus, planning, and access to the best tools the industry has to offer. Markex World of Events is designed to provide this and much more to discerning and visionary players in this dynamic sector,” says Gary Corin, MD of Specialised Exhibitions, organiser of Markex.
“The Markex Digital Media Village is certain to be one of the biggest attractions at this year’s show, bringing innovation, ideas and excitement to visitors who play an active role in today’s digital media era. We look forward to a better than ever exhibition in 2012 and encourage visitors to block off a few hours between 12 and 14 June to stock up on all your marketing requirements – including digital and social media strategies and tactics – for the year,” concludes Corin.
