4Most provides SAP Business One Solution for Muteo Consulting
SAP Business One financial and accounting ERP software specialist 4MOST has won a R157 000 contract to supply, implement and support Polokwane-based Muteo Consulting, a provider of consulting services in engineering and project management for government and private sector projects.
The solution is centred on process flow and will extend to meet the growth projections of Muteo Consulting, which also operates branch offices at Nelspruit and Centurion. The go-live date is June.
“The rapid growth experienced by Muteo required a single solution capable of tracking all activities within the company,” said Gerhard Wagenaar, business development manager of 4most. “The initial plan is to commence with the SAP Business One Starter Package that offers instant visibility and control and at the same time establishes an integrated software foundation for managing the business and supporting evolving business needs.”
The SAP Business One starter package addresses fundamental business requirements, offering basic finance, sales, purchasing, CRM and inventory functionality. It is particularly well-suited to companies in wholesale distribution, high-value retail items, light professional services and operations.
The software provides functionality for the management of general ledger, journals, accounts payable and accounts receivable. It also manages all banking activities, processing payments by cheque, cash, credit card, bank transfer and bill of exchange, reconciles accounts, creates financial reports for profit and loss, cash flow, balance sheet and aging.
“Delivering reporting and alerts management functionality it is an ideal fit for any business that needs to manage service delivery or projects,” added Wagenaar.
As the business grows , Muteo intends to upgrade to the full version of SAP Business One with integration into the Enprise project module which will provide an advanced solution for the tracking of labour, materials, purchases and resource usage against jobs, projects and contracts.
