The Nashua Mobile ladies’ mountain bike race is back
Ladies, kick off your high heels and start training for the third annual Nashua Mobile Ladies MTB Day, the largest ladies-only mountain biking event in the country, taking place on Saturday, 30 June.
Catering to serious riders and those looking for a day of fun, this is a magnificent way to spend a Saturday enjoying some crisp country air. There are no impossible hills and jaw-breaking roughs, but enough good riding to challenge yourself and stretch those limits.
Ladies that take part can choose between a fun 15km route, a moderate 25km route and a slightly challenging 40km route, all which will begin at Van Gaalen’s Cheese Farm near the Hartebeespoort Dam. Once you’re done with the ride, kick back and relax with some great entertainment at the finishing line.
Boyfriends and husbands are welcome – for a change, it will be up to them to watch the kids as they take part in a race of their own and after that to cheer you on at the finishing line. At the end of the day, they can chill in the beer tent. Kids can enjoy entertainment including James the Clown at the playground.
At the end of the ride, ladies will be able to enjoy a glass of bubbly, a scrumptiously healthy ladies’ lunch and all day massages in the hospitality tent courtesy of Honda and Mangwanani Spa.
There will be live entertainment after lunch so you can enjoy a leisurely day in the sun. Plus, there will be loads of prizes up for grabs, including Trek Bikes, Thule hampers and much more.
