Bytes scoop NetApp’s African Partner and Deal of the Year Awards

Following hard on the heels of winning the NetApp Top Contributing Partner to Midsize Enterprises (MSE) in the EMEA region, Bytes Systems Integration has scooped two more prestigious awards.

The company was named Partner of the Year at the NetApp Africa Summit, as well as seeing its Mozambique branch take home the award for Deal of the Year. Mike Broderick, divisional director at Bytes Systems Integration says that these awards are testament to Bytes Systems Integration’s longstanding commitment to its partnership with NetApp.

“Bytes has always been fiercely committed to our partnership with NetApp, as evidenced by the way in which we have chosen to focus our data management and data storage offerings on the NetApp suite of solutions. This focus has, in turn, meant we are able to specialise and become NetApp experts. It has also meant that our clients receive the benefits of the professionalism we have inculcated, thanks to this,” says Broderick.

“We are absolutely delighted with the high level of technical expertise we have developed over the past eight years. Winning the African Partner of the Year Award is testament to this, and to the hard work and commitment of every member of the Bytes team.”

Broderick adds that winning the Deal of the Year Award was the cherry on the top. He says that enormous effort was put into the deal – a large implementation at the Mozambican Ministry of Finance – and that the team involved deserves all the kudos it receives.

He suggests that the intuitive way that NetApp is delivering solutions for today’s problems is one of the main reasons for the company’s astonishing growth of late; this growth is happening globally and boils down to the organisation’s fantastic innovation. “They really are doing everything right at the moment, and we are delighted to be partners of theirs,” states Broderick.

“NetApp is effectively outgrowing the market, meaning that its consistent growth is coming at the expense of its competitors – this is something we experience all the time. We are proud of our association with NetApp and are certainly looking forward to yet another prosperous year of growth,” concludes Broderick.
