High performance workgroup printing with the new HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 series from DCC
Get heavy-duty reliability and breakthrough speed with the HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 series of printers, available from distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC). The three models in the series, the M601, M602 and M603, come in a range of configurations to suit the needs of small to medium businesses as well as large enterprise workgroups. Every printer in the series is fast and reliable, delivering high-volume document printing with network management, increased paper capacity and advanced security features.
“These printers are upgrades of the previous LaserJet series, featuring more memory, updated technology and improved energy saving capabilities. For workgroups of 5 – 10 users in small to medium businesses, the M601 comes in two models, the M601n and the M601dn. Both deliver print speeds of up to 43 pages per minute, with 512MB standard onboard memory expandable to 1 GB, an 800 MHz processor, Gigabit Ethernet, high speed USB 2.0, two external USB ports and two internal USB ports for third party connections, a 100-sheet multipurpose tray and a 500-sheet input tray. The M601dn includes all of the features of the base model along with automatic double-sided printing.
The M602 is ideal for workgroups of 10 or more in medium to large businesses, with three models to choose from, the M602n, the M602dn and the M602x. All models offer print speeds of up to 50 pages per minute and the same specs as the M601 range with the addition of a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Hardware Integration Pocket, which offers card authentication and other accounting measures. The M602dn also incorporates automatic two-sided printing, while the M602x includes automatic two-sided printing and a 500-sheet paper tray.
The M603 range is available in three models, the M603n, the M603dn and the M603xh. This range is designed for workgroups of 15 or more users in large enterprise environments, with lightning print speeds of up to 60 pages per minute along with the standard specs available in the M601 and M602 ranges. The M603dn includes automatic two-sided printing. The M603xh is a colour LaserJet with automatic two-sided printing, a 1500-sheet paper tray and a 250GB encrypted HP High-Performance Secure Hard Disk for advanced security.
“All of the LaserJet Pro 600 Series devices also incorporate several eco features. Auto-On/Auto-Off technology turns the printer on and off based on network activity, while instant-on technology speeds warm-up/cool-down times, saving even more power. These devices also enable users to track usage data in real time and apply custom energy-saving options and printer settings with the HP EcoSMART Console. The products ship with a pre-installed toner cartridge, saving on packaging, and all toner cartridges can be recycled for free through the HP Planet Partner programme,” says De Fortier.
Recommended selling price, inclusive of V.A.T, starts at R8200 for the M601n. The top of the range M603xh sells at a recommended price of R25050, inclusive of V.A.T and is available for order on request. All other models are available and in stock now at Drive Control Corporation.
