Professional printing, touch screen productivity – the HP Pro 400 series from DCC

The M401 range offers the same high quality printing with optional ePrint and Airprint capabilities in a pure printing device that delivers simplicity of design, easy to use features and impressive print speeds. Using wireless connectivity the printer can be networked and shared anywhere in the office. Business apps can be accessed through the touch screen available on selected models. This allows users to take advantage of productivity enhancing tools such as access and print of documents from the web with Google Docs.

All devices in the Pro 400 series come with a 300 sheet paper input with optional 500 sheet tray and high capacity toner cartridges, enabling you to print more with less hassle. Thanks to HP Smart Install, and you can plug and print in less than five minutes, no CD required, allowing you to be up and running in no time at all. All devices also offer print speeds of up to 33 pages per minute with first page in as fast as eight seconds, which means less time waiting around for the job to complete. A USB port enables direct from flash drive printing.

“Both ranges have also been designed with the eco conscious consumer in mind, with several features to help users reduce their environmental impact. HP Auto-On/Auto-Off Technology helps you save energy by switching the printer off when not in use and powering back up quickly as and when needed. Automatic two-sided printing prevents unnecessary waste, reducing paper usage by up to 50%, and excess packaging has been removed by shipping the toner cartridges in the printers. All cartridges can be recycled through HP Planet Partners,” says De Fortier.
