The Institute for International Research (IIR SA) will be hosting its 2nd Annual Mobile Security & BYOD Summit in October this year. Commenting on the subject, the Head of Enterprise Mobility, Paulo Ferreira has said, “mobility in the South African enterprise is increasing in importance, and business users require access to corporate applications and data from wherever they are, using whatever device they choose”.
Paulo and other major role players in the mobile security space in South Africa will be speaking at this event, allowing an exchange of ideas and informed discussions on the way forward. Presentations from Telkom SA, MTN, Standard Bank, Airports Company South Africa (ACSA), Nokia, Samsung, Microsoft and others will provide delegates with advice and best practice on combating security threats from mobile devices. Question and answer sessions will give delegates a chance to get the speakers to address their most pressing issues.
