Celebrating Arbor Month
Nashua Mobile, Primedia Outdoor, Primedia Broadcasting and Audi South Africa came together to celebrate Arbor Month on 31 August with Food & Trees for Africa (FTFA), planting trees around Altrec Stadium in Alexandra.
The initiative’s aim is to improve the quality of life in the community by adding some green colour to the urban environment, cleaning the air and increasing biodiversity.
FTFA is South Africa’s national greening social enterprise that contributes to climate change action, food security and greening through six award winning programmes.
Nashua Mobile has supported the organisation since 2008 and has helped to plant more 13,100 trees through its Paperless Billing Campaign.
