Introducing the Océ ColorWave 650, productive large format printer for black & white and colour

Océ South Africa, a leader in digital document management and delivery, has announced the launch of its new Océ ColorWave 650 printing system. It allows technical users to print, copy and scan in black & white and colour – on a single device – without sacrificing productivity or quality. This system builds on the proven Océ CrystalPoint technology to deliver outstanding performance for technical documents.

Our new Océ ColorWave 650 printing system, with its ability to produce both black & white and colour documents means our customers no longer have to purchase multiple printers to handle their printing needs.”

All-round productivity

It no longer takes hours to print a set of colour documents. The Océ ColorWave 650 can print in black & white and colour at up to 225 A1 prints per hour for all round productivity. The system can hold up to six media rolls and prints come out dry, cut to size and ready to use. With the optional online folder, different folded packages can be prepared and printed right from the desktop.

Effortless operation

Today’s knowledge workers want their document equipment to work intuitively with as little effort as possible. This system simplifies routine tasks to save time and reduce mistakes. Users can define up to five copy and scan templates with their most common settings to avoid clicking through endless menus. Whether copying, scanning or printing, the system can be set up to produce the right results at the touch of a button.

The media independency of Océ CrystalPoint technology gives prints a silk-shine look and feel. The Océ ColorWave 650 uses Océ TonerPearls and Océ CrystalPoint technology to deliver robust and waterfast colour prints on plain paper. Toner crystalisation ensures strong adhesion to any media. Absence of toner feathering provides unmatched accuracy,, and the system’s durable imaging devices ensure output quality is always the same, over time on different Océ ColorWave systems.
