Bytes Managed Solutions named Best MSP by Kaseya
Bytes Managed Solutions has won the best managed services provider (MSP) award from global IT systems management software company Kaseya. The award ceremony took place at The Venue in Melrose Arch on 31 July 2012.
The accolade recognises Bytes Managed Solutions as Kaseya’s tier one MSP of the year, an award granted to large MSPs which manage more than 2 500 end points.
“Bytes Managed Solutions has impressed us with its consistent innovation and ability to engineer solutions which deliver stable, scalable environments to customers that are reliant on security and 100% uptime,” says Garth Hayward, regional manager for Kaseya Africa.
“We won this important Kaseya award because we exceeded all the criteria,” says Deirdre Le Hanie, MD of Bytes Managed Solutions. “We have invested heavily in our Kaseya intellectual property and our return on investment and the resulting customer satisfaction has been shown to be unsurpassed in the market.”
The criteria for the award includes the MSP’s number of certified Kaseya administrators, its business revenue and agent growth, its use of Kaseya add-on modules, in-house Kaseya competence, the percentage of solutions deployed, partner support and conference attendance, fostering of development capabilities within the platform (custom development), participation in case studies, automation, and total machines managed per technician.
“A total of 7 500 machines are being managed utilising the Kaseya framework and we hope to grow this number significantly in the coming months,” says Le Hanie.
The partnership enables Bytes Managed Solutions to provide its customers with a world class solution that allow them to:
- proactively manage their environment
- assist in reducing downtime
- increasing availability and trading opportunity
- increase security and reduce risk
- reduce operating cost
- contribute to a greener environment
“We are confident that the large corporate market will take cognisance of what Bytes Managed Solutions has achieved for its current customer base,” says Le Hanie. “This represents a new paradigm in the way organisations manage their infrastructure and Bytes is well positioned to partner with organisations which have multiple outlets spread throughout Africa. We have proven that they will be able to achieve higher levels of uptime, while substantially reducing the overall costs associated with managing their dispersed infrastructures.”
Hayward says Kaseya’s partner network reflects extraordinarily well on the brand. “These businesses are innovative and passionate, and we are seeing remarkable growth in an industry that is under extreme pressure currently. We look forward to continued success in the future.”
