Jasco to feature Lighting and Telecom Structures at upcoming AMEU Convention

Jasco Lighting Structures and Jasco Telecom Structures will be hosting a joint stand to showcase their range of lighting and telecommunications infrastructure solutions at the upcoming 63rd Annual Association of Municipal Electricity Undertakings (AMEU) Convention. The convention takes place at Emperor’s Palace in Ekurhuleni from 15 to 17 October 2012.

This prestigious event brings together thought leaders from the energy and electrical sectors of South Africa and across Africa to discuss trends and solutions around electricity and power provision. The theme of this year’s event is “Solutions for a Smart Industry” and topics under discussion include global trends in energy, power and utilities, the evolution of the smart grid, renewable energy, the role of ICT in the energy sector and more. Delegates at the event include AMEU members, electrical engineers, municipal managers, manufacturers of electricity distribution equipment and infrastructure, and representatives from electricity utilities from across the African Continent

Lighting Structures and Telecom Structures, represented by LeBLANC Jasco, a joint venture between the Jasco Group and LeBLANC Industries, are specialists in the engineering, design, fabrication, logistics and installation of a variety of high-masts,eg. steel lighting structures, masts and towers for the communications industry. Infrastructure for both lighting and telecoms are produced at a shared purpose-built factory in Nigel in compliance with the highest quality and safety standards. Jasco also renders civil, structural and electrical maintenance services of lighting infrastructure to local authorities.

Lighting Structures will showcase its range of high masts, railow masts, mid-hinge masts, hydro masts, access masts, street lighting poles and support structures for solar energy applications. From a Telecom Structures side products on offer include parallel and tapered self-supporting angular and tubular lattice masts and towers, guyed lattice masts, monopole masts, free standing non-penetrating rooftop structures, antenna brackets and accessories for buildings and steel structures, work and rest platforms, rapid deployment structures as well as camouflage and disguise structures. Teams will also be on hand to discuss individual requirements and tailored solutions.
