MTN Continues to Make Thursdays your Favourite Day of the Week

Mahala Thursdays has become a firm favourite for MTN customers over the past few months and MTN would like to inform customers that the promotion has been extended to ensure that they continue to enjoy this exclusive value added service on the MTN network.

“MTN Mahala Thursdays has seen a phenomenal interest in the market and Thursdays have certainly become a popular day of the week for MTN customers. For this reason and given the growing customer demand, the extension is necessary, driven by the value we have seen added to our customer’s lives,” says Serame Taukobong, MTN South Africa’s Chief Marketing Officer.

To qualify for the promotion, customers need to recharge with a minimum of R10.00, which may be cumulative. For example, if a customer recharges for R5.00 at 8am, the customer will not qualify for the recharge giveback, however; if the same customer recharges again at 2pm with another R5.00 on the same day, the customer will receive the 50% (R5.00) free airtime give back.

The Mahala Thursdays free airtime benefit applies to MTN to MTN Voice, SMS or Data calls only and does not include international calls, premium rated calls, video calls and MMS services. Only airtime recharges qualify for the offer, therefore Internet bundle and SMS bundle vouchers are excluded.
