Nashua Mobile imagines what it can do for a world without cancer
Nashua Mobile is supporting the fight against cancer through a new partnership with the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa).
As part of this partnership Nashua Mobile will waive certain fees on cellular voice contracts signed up under the Cansa umbrella. Furthermore, Nashua Mobile will donate the value of 5% of the airtime and monthly subscription fee on each contract to Cansa.
The offer is open to all Cansa staff, volunteers, donors, beneficiaries and their immediate family members. It covers the monthly cellphone contract subscription fee as well as charges for airtime used outside of the minutes included in the contract.
Says Mark Taylor, CEO at Nashua Mobile: “We have an existing relationship with Cansa as one of our corporate social investment beneficiaries and admire the work the organisation is doing for cancer survivors and the communities that care about them. We believe this initiative is a great way to extend our relationship with such a worthy cause. It is a sustainable and long-term programme that will not only bring funding to Cansa, but also provide direct benefit to its stakeholders.”
