Integrated communications agency enters renewable energy sector with Canadian Solar win
Integrated communications agency, Waggener Edstrom has experienced 41% year-on-year revenue growth in South Africa during 2012, demonstrated by a number of key client wins in technology and renewable energy, strengthening its offering across these sectors.
In technology, Cisco, Mustek, Global Micro, and SAS joined the client portfolio, testimony to the agency’s expertise in driving communications strategy in domains such as networks, cloud computing, personal computing, infrastructure and data analytics.
The agency has diversified further into the renewable energy sector and is now working with Canadian Solar, providing communications and marketing support to one of the world’s largest solar companies.

Waggener Edstrom South Africa recently moved offices from Sandton to Illovo in Johannesburg, adding a project manager and measurement specialist to its staff complement to support both the Africa and Europe region. The agency offers its clients a combination of local and pan-African communications expertise combined with a global network of 20 offices and over 850 consultants.
