Canon’s innovation in imaging solutions recognised with three 2013 BLI awards
CanonEurope, world-leader in imaging solutions, today announces that it has received two ‘Winter Pick’ awards and a ‘Line of the Year’ award from testing and research organisation Buyers Laboratory LLC (BLI) for software products within its imaging solutions portfolio.
Recognising Canon’s on-going investment in innovation, BLI has presented Canon with the following awards:
- BLI Winter 2013 ‘Pick’ Award for Outstanding Achievement in Innovation for Canon’s Universal Login Manager
- BLI Winter 2013 ‘Pick’ Award for Outstanding Achievement in Innovation for Quick Print Tool in Canon’s iW Desktop
- BLI’s ‘Solutions Line of the Year’ Honours for Canon’s solutions portfolio
This is the first time that BLI has presented ‘Solutions Line of the Year’ honours in Europe and follows the introduction of BLIs new ‘Solutions Center’ test facility. Canon has been recognised for offering the strongest solutions portfolio across the range of software categories that BLI covers in its facility.

Categories tested included Document Management / ECM, Document Capture & Workflow, Accounting / Cost Control & Recovery, Print Management, Device Management, Mobile Printing and Security. Many of the products covered, including Canon’s uniFLOW and Nuance Equitrac offering for Accounting, Cost Control & Recovery and Print Management, were awarded 5-stars in BLI’s hands-on Solutions Reports.
“Canon developed the iW Desktop Quick Print Tool to help address everyday office publishing challenges and our tool offers easy drag-and-drop print and PDF publishing right from your desktop.
