Rectron strength and expertise in the digital signage environment makes it a top choice service provider
IT manufacturer, Samsung South Africa, and IT product distributor, Rectron, have signed an agreement whereby Rectron will be a distributor of Samsung’s Large Format Displays (LFDs) in South Africa. This forms part of Rectron’s continued efforts, coupled with its strengths and expertise in the field of Digital Signage, to bring the latest technology to its customers.
“The addition of this unique and specified product line to our product portfolio will enable us to address a new type of Digital Signage Reseller. It will also offer our existing and loyal reseller partners an opportunity to address new vertical markets and create new revenue streams,” says Sebastian Isaac, LFD Expert at Rectron.
“Our willingness to share our knowledge about the digital signage industry with our customers is one way of how we are looking at adding value to our channel,“ says Isaac.
Says Mike van Lier, Business leader for IT Solutions at Samsung South Africa: “This is not the first collaboration and partnership with Rectron – the company already distributes a number of our monitors – but certainly it is a very exciting one. We believe that Rectron hold the same values of quality delivery and technology innovation as Samsung and believe that this partnership will continue to foster a culture of superior product dissemination for the local business and technology markets.”
What differentiates Rectron from other companies in this space is that we are not just supplying the screens, but are able to provide the complete solution. This includes: Content Management and Distribution Software, Network Infrastructure and connectivity, Media Players and Server Solutions as well as Screens and Display devices.
Rectron has a broad distribution network across the country and prides itself if delivering excellent value, service and product to this base. It is for this reason that Samsung chose to appoint Rectron as a distributor for LFD products locally,” Izaac concludes.
