Ruckus Wireless expands its presence in Botswana
Ruckus Wireless, Inc. (NYSE: RKUS) has appointed IT-IQ Botswana as a Top Dog reseller and Authorised Training Partner (ATP) in the region. This agreement will see IT-IQ being the official reseller of all Ruckus Wireless solutions in Botswana – effective immediately.
Says Michael Fletcher, sales director for Ruckus Wireless sub-Saharan Africa: “Botswana is a growing market for us. In fact, if we consider that preliminary data* for 2012 indicates that the country GDP grew by 7.7%, it is evident that business is strong in the region and growth in technology is on the increase. To ensure we can continue to support our growing Botswana customer base – existing and new – we have appointed IT-IQ Botswana.”
IT-IQ Botswana has been in operation since 1995 and is a leading IT services company with a focus in Solutions, Managed Services, Training and Consulting.
“We have a vision to deliver high quality professional services that meet the changing needs of business and the individual nature of each client – an ethos which is strongly aligned to the Ruckus brand,” says Vish Sethi, Managing Director at IT-IQ Botswana. “Not only are we pleased with adding Ruckus Wireless to our list of vendors, but we are extremely eager to join the Ruckus team in the journey to offering local businesses Wi-Fi solutions that really work. Our belief in supporting best-in-class technologies is furthered by the investment in training and certifying local Ruckus Engineers to ensure our capability sets us apart.
“We are extremely selective in our choice of Top Dog partners and as a result, we have established a first-class track record for stable, consistent product and service supply. We look forward to a fruitful business relationship with IT-IQ Botswana and believe that by forming this affiliation with this local channel, we will only grow from strength to strength in the Botswana business and corporate market – serving this sector based on their business requirements and changing market trends,” concludes Fletcher.
