Quintica applauds SunGard’s achievement as Business Continuity Provider of the Year
Quintica, local ICT specialists, are pleased to announce that vendor partner SunGard has recently received the prestigious title as Business Continuity Provider of the year 2013 from the Business Continuity Institute (BCI).
The BCI North America Awards 2013, held in March in Florida in the USA, paid tribute to some of the finest talent in the BC industry. The awards strive to acknowledge and recognise outstanding contributions by business continuity professionals and organisations, placing an emphasis on technology and projects as well as individuals.

The Business Continuity Provider of the Year (BCM Service) award was sponsored by the BCI USA Chapter and was awarded to SunGard Availability Services, which provides a full portfolio of disaster recovery services, ensuring that SunGard customers don’t have to use redundant servers, electrical power and other resources to create a backup environment.
The Business Continuity Provider of the Year is recognised as a provider of outstanding service to those working within the BCM industry and are skilled in the delivery of: consultancy; training; data backup; recovery services; data centre services; call tree solutions; and auditing. According to the judging panel, winners were selected for a first class service backed up with excellent customer support and the entrants had to supply a minimum of 10 customers.
