ATIO invests in cutting-edge LTE technology skills
ATIO, the leading provider of specialist ICT and telecoms service assurance solutions, is pleased to announce that a team of five mobile network optimization specialists have successfully completed a two week training course in Dubai focusing on Long Term Evolution (“LTE”) mobile network planning, optimization and performance management.
The course was delivered by leading global LTE technology experts and focused on LTE network architecture overview, air interface, end-to-end call processing, troubleshooting and culminated in a live network and real data performance workshop.
The customized training program was developed in partnership with the MICT SETA who co-funded the initiative as part of their national skills development mandate.
“This is a significant step forward for ATIO and our customers deploying LTE. It also represents a success story for the MICT SETA program” said Tim Courtenay, Managing Director of ATIO Telecoms division. “LTE is rolling out faster on a global basis than anyone predicted. Its growth rate outstrips 3G or HSPA technologies when they were launched. LTE has been designed as an all-IP system however for it to reach its full potential requires proper mobile network design and management. ATIO is playing a key role in this space and we will continue to work with our new and existing operator customer base, to ensure that customers receive an optimal experience when using LTE.”
