Lock and load as the 2013 NAG LAN opens for business
w00t – here’s some good news for ardent gamers. NAG Magazine, the driving force behind rAge (the Really Awesome Gaming Expo), has announced that tickets to the annual NAG LAN @ rAge will go on sale at 09h00 on 31 August 2013. Traditionally tickets have gone on sale on 01 August, so this gives gaming fanatics a little more time to get their battle plans drawn and their loot stockpiled in preparation to experience South Africa’s most anticipated annual gaming gathering.
Another change is the method of purchase. Tickets will only be on sale online at www.itickets.co.za. There will be no tickets available to purchase at any outlet and sales will be limited to a maximum of 2 tickets per person.
“As everyone knows, in life nothing works this well and grows to this kind of madness, with this much status and prestige just by itself,” says Michael James, Editor and Publisher of NAG Magazine. “The NAG LAN servers are powered by the mighty Intel, and connecting all these kilometres of networking cables are HP switches. The whole crazy weekend LAN is sponsored by Corex who bravely put their name on the gaming experience of the year. Without these companies there is no LAN. Go on, show them the love.”
Like explorers preparing for the adventure of their lives, those fortunate enough to snag their spot in the NAG LAN alongside 2,000 other like-minded gamers are jubilant on arrival at The Coca-Cola Dome. With computers in tow, they set about connecting to the same network to enjoy three days of non-stop gaming bliss. 54 hours later they emerge bleary eyed but satiated.
Secure your ticket to the 11th annual NAG LAN @ rAge and prepare to savour the greatest get together of gamers in the Southern Hemisphere.
