Epson appoints ImageMed as specialist reseller
Industry experience and product knowledge sealed the deal
Epson South Africa has appointed ImageMed Technologies as a specialist reseller of the Epson SureLab SL-D3000 compact digital drylab, a photo printer that is ideal for the retail photo laboratory market.
In addition, ImageMed has also been appointed as an accredited service provider (ASP) of the SureLab SL-D3000 as George Rosa, the owner of ImageMed, is a fully-certified maintenance engineer, specifically trained to attend to any technical issues that may occur on Epson SureLab SL-D3000 installations.

The Epson SureLab SL-D3000 leverages Epson’s core imaging technologies and advanced photo inks to deliver high-quality prints on glossy, matte and lustre media. Ideal for traditional mini-labs, pro labs and franchise photo studios, the Epson SureLab SL-D3000 can print up to 12 inches wide, producing high quality photos, greeting cards, invitations, flyers, banners and other general purpose printed products.
The Epson SureLab SL-D3000 is easy to operate, and comes with the best of Epson’s technology, including Epson’s MicroPiezo print heads that produce the finest detail and most consistent colour using variable sized droplets. Epson’s UltraChrome D6 photo ink set achieves a wide colour gamut, with its 700ml ink cartridges stretching the time between changing over of consumables.
The Epson SureLab SL-D3000 has a relatively small footprint – a vital consideration for retail environments – and uses significantly less power than a wet lab. It also does not need a water supply, air filter or any chemicals, meaning that it’s kind to the environment – and to the lab technicians using it.
