South African SME Solutions showcased by 4most at the SAP EMEA SME Summit
At the EMEA SME Summit in Istanbul, Turkey, SAP executives, customers and partners discussed the challenges for their market, opportunities for SMEs to thrive, and how to empower individuals to contribute to economic growth and make the world run better.
This one-day event , which took place on the 19th of September 2013 at the Sait Halim Pasha Yalisi, offered unique insights into SAP’s SME strategy and how SAP and its partners are helping small and midsized companies as well as individuals to prosper.
Over 40 influencers, including analysts and journalists, attended, and more than 25 formal meetings with influencers took place.
What emerged was that, in response to SME demands, SAP has developed their products to be available across devices, including on mobile, the benefits of which are being felt by businesses and their clients alike.
Sean Kruger, Financial director at Lombard Tyres, along with Eugene Olivier, Business Development Director at 4most Systems, presented and demonstrated how SAP Business One Mobility enables accurate data driven decisions based on real time data, immediately and quickly, offering more value through better service to clients.
“The Mobile Application enables management to respond to requests and manage approvals, even when on the move, ” states Kruger.
Olivier went on to reveal how, in addition to mobility, 4most offers SMEs cloud hosted solutions, powered by SAP Business One, which can be deployed faster across branches. These solutions are also more affordable due to the reduction in hardware requirements, they are industry specific, faster to roll out, and have a lower total cost of ownership, making them more preferable for SMEs to deploy.
Moreover, findings of the Oxford Economics SME survey, sponsored by SAP, were covered as well as the announcement that SAP was recognized as a leader in the Gartner ERP Magic Quadrant for Midmarket Companies .The event was featured by media across Europe, and the MENA and MEE regions and additional analyst reports are expected to emerge over the next month.
